Annual plants are classic favorites for casual and lifelong gardeners alike. There's no limit to the arrangements you can make, whether in a container or in an ornamental bed. You can even leave "seasonal pockets" in your perennial beds that allow you to keep your landscape up-to-date with the latest annual blooms! At Bountiful Gardens, we're proud to offer the largest selection of annual plants in New Jersey, available in a variety of pot and plug sizes throughout the growing season. Once March comes around, the annual show begins! We bring brand new plants out to the floor multiple times a week so you'll always have an excellent selection.

When it comes to designing your planters, the traditional trick is the "thriller, filler, spiller" method. In this strategy, taller, more showy annuals are deemed "thrillers" and are normally the centerpiece of the design. "Fillers," as you may expect, are used to fill in the space around your thriller. If you have one type of thriller in a design, we recommend having three types of thrillers for maximum impact. Lastly, "spillers" flow over the sides of your container to extend the vertical impact of the overall design.
