Don't get us wrong--we love Mums, and each Fall we bring out thousands to the floor, but there's so much more to a perfect Fall display! Our ornamental Cabbages, Kale and Peppers will even give you color and texture well past the first frosts. Feed late-season birds with Zinnia, Sunflowers and Millet! Late-season butterflies will also thank you heartily for offering them nectar from our various Fall blooming annuals.

Heres a tip: you can leave "seasonal pockets" in your perennial beds that allow you to keep your landscape up-to-date with the latest annual blooms! When it comes to designing your planters, the traditional trick is the "thriller, filler, spiller" method. In this strategy, taller, more showy annuals are deemed "thrillers" and are normally the centerpiece of the design. "Fillers," as you may expect, are used to fill in the space around your thriller. If you have one type of thriller in a design, we recommend having three types of thrillers for maximum impact. Lastly, "spillers" flow over the sides of your container to extend the vertical impact of the overall design.
