Winter Red is a slow-growing, deciduous shrub that bloom relatively inconspicuous greenish-white flowers in the late spring. Flowers give way to a crop of bright red berries in the late summer/fall They are wrote showy and will persist throughout the winter (hence the common name) and often into the early spring where they will be enjoyed by the birds! The berries provide considerable impact and interest to the winter landscape!
