'Peter's Honey' is a sub-tropical, drought tolerant, self-pollinating fruit tree. This variety originated in Sicily and is known as the sweetest of all figs. Figs need warm soil for their roots to start growing; Mature trees are hardy to 15°F and will re-grow from roots if winter-killed.  This tree can serve as both an ornamental and a fruit tree-- it is equally effective as either a single specimen or in groups/as a screen.
