This low-growing evergreen shrub has a spreading, vase-like shape and will grow slowly to its mature height. It feature thick, shiny, dark green leaves and clusters of slightly gragrant, white flowers. Its foliage turns a purple-bronze hue in the winter months, adding to the year-round color. This small shrub may be used effectively in rock gardens, as borders, on slopes, as a foundation plant, or as an underplanting for larger shrubs.
