Rose of Sharon 'Diana' - Hibiscus Syriacus
Characteristics: Rose of Sharon is deciduous shrub is noted for its profuse and long lasting bloom. Although pruning is not necessary when caring for this plant, it is a vigorous grower and can be pruned back in late Fall/early Spring. Rose of Sharon is overall an easy-care plant, highly adaptable to most soil conditions, very tolerant of heat and humidity, and lends its bold color to landscapes when most plants have finished flowering for the season. This shrub is excellent for mixed borders, flowering hedges, privacy screens or as a single specimen/focal point.
