About The Event

Finding cool ways to display our collection is fun and that's why we LOVE Kokedama string gardens, the ultimate small space garden! Koke meaning Moss and dama meaning ball date back to the Edo Era in Japan, circa 1600. Floating in midair, these plants are a form of bonsai that don't take up any surface space! Just look how beautiful the Kokedama are to look at! They are fun, versatile and make a great gift too. Make one for yourself or for that plant-loving millennial!

YOU PICK! Choose between creating either a Three Fern Hanging Kokedama or a Terrarium Garden! Join us at Bountiful Gardens in Chester for an evening creating your very own three-fern kokedama or terrarium garden of your choosing. Your instructor Melinda Scotti will be guiding you through the steps to take and supply you with the tools to make your own to take home. If you're looking to add a unique indoor plant or arrangement to your living space, this is the class for you!!
