Carousel is usually chosen for its compact size, rounded habit, and upright stems that do not lodge in the fall and winter. Its blue green foliage gets streaks of pink in the summer and a mahogany in the fall. Because its so tolerant of a range of moisture conditions, it’s great for banks, slopes, and restorations., but can thrive almost anywhere.
