Our commitment to Integrity is different than your average lawn care service. ​ We will only use products that are acceptable under the most strict organic standards. The key to having a beautiful, lush, green and organic lawn, garden, and trees is to stimulate the biological activity in the soil. The products we use feed the soil which encourages microorganisms rather than killing them with herbicides and pesticides. Traditional chemical lawn care programs deplete the soil leaving it sterile. Sterile soil creates a dependence on chemicals = fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Because the soil is unhealthy it actually attracts and increases pests, disease and weeds. With our organic program, once we get your soil back to healthy and rich in microbial life your lawn, shrubs, and trees will thrive on their own. The microorganisms will now accomplish all the jobs that in the past would consume much more time, money, and energy. An organic lawn and garden is self-sustaining. Why should you switch from a chemical lawn service/program? Your family’s health and your neighbor’s health. Lawn care pesticides are poisons that kill insects, weeds, and organisms. Many are known or suspected to cause multiple myeloma, cancer of the brain, pancreas, breast, prostrate, kidney/bladder, eye, and colon, birth defects and infertility, non- Hodgkin lymphoma and Parkinson’s disease. They can also damage the brain and nervous system, lungs, kidneys, liver, endocrine, and immune system. Just because you do not get any symptoms from pesticides does not mean you are not being exposed and are not at risk. Long-term effects such as cancer and brain damage, especially in children, may occur from low level exposures over time. Children are much more susceptible to health effects of pesticides than adults. Recent studies of major rivers and streams documented that 96% of all fish, 100% of all surface water samples and 33% of major aquifers contained one or more pesticides at detectable levels. The most common pesticides found were those typically used for lawn treatments. Other studies have determined that common pesticides at low level concentrations are highly toxic to aquatic wildlife and decreased their populations by nearly 70 percent. The EPA does not require the testing of insecticides for their effects on beneficial insects, many of which prey on the problem insects and are therefore extremely important to the ecosystem and are important natural controls. Bees for example, are important pollinators of many food crops. We all know by now that Pollination is vital to food production. The wild bird population has also been greatly reduced by pesticides. Many pesticides are applied in granular form. Birds pick them up while searching for seeds. Also, pesticide-killed insects become a readily available food source for birds and serve as another means of exposure. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services estimates that an estimated 67 million birds die from pesticide poisoning each year and more than 600 million are exposed. These are just some of the many concerns of pesticide use. We believe that you should switch to a natural organic lawn and garden program primarily because it’s better for all humans and the environment. Our Organic Program is a healthy and effective alternative to a more dangerous method. It works just as well and in time better than chemicals. It just makes sense. ​

You may have a space that you don’t know what to do with. You may have difficulty visualizing what looks good and where. We use a program called Pro Landscape which gives you a realistic visual of what your property will look like once we’re finished. If you need insight, tips, suggestions, or general advice, this service is for you. Price: $150/hr In-Home Consultation Consult with an expert horticulturist at your home for one hour to discuss your gardening needs both indoors and outdoors. We can offer solutions and advice if you’re having difficulties planting indoors and outdoors, or if you just need suggestions on what to pick next. A picture of your property is one thing. The opportunity to physically show the area to your designer and discuss the property in person creates an easy, personal and effective design experience. **We charge a fee of $10 for the first 15 minutes of driving to you from our closest location. A fee of $10 is generated for each 15 minutes further we have to drive. Price: $150/hr Planting Services We sell plants both online or in store, and offer planting services on any online purchase you make. No matter the size of your project, we will plant for you! ​ Buying online is convenient! You can choose to either pick up your plants or have them delivered, and if you have them delivered, we can plant them for you too! ​ Alternatively, you can visit one of our lush, beautiful stores and see everything in person! **We will plant online purchases only if they're delivered.

Events Policy Participants in ticketed events hosted by Bountiful Gardens on property agree to the following as a condition of ticket purchase and receipt: 1. The recipient and/or the parent/guardian of said minor person assumes full responsibility and all risk for any injuries or illnesses which said person might suffer or cause while at Bountiful Gardens, and does hereby waive any rights to recover against Bountiful Gardens for any personal injuries, illnesses, or property damage that might occur while on or as a result of access to Bountiful Gardens. ​ 2. Recipients agree to the unlimited use of any images captured of him/her at any time during his/her presence on Bountiful Gardens' property and/or participation in the Program series through video, photo and digital cameras. The recipient also agrees to the use of quotations, either in print or reproduction through any audio or video equipment and the use of his/her name. Furthermore, the recipient agrees that photos, video or audio may be used for Bountiful Gardens' promotional material and waives any rights of compensation or ownership thereto, or claims of privacy. 3. Recipients hereby fully and knowingly release Bountiful Gardens, its agents, contractors, and employees from any claims for any damage, loss, or injury including personal injuries, or illnesses that might occur. 4. Participants will have access to portable toilets and outdoor hand-washing stations during all events. The garden centers are outdoors, rustic locations and persons with significantly limited mobility are invited to call ahead to plan accommodations. 5. Recipients may cancel up to 5 days before the event date and a refund will be given minus a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations must be requested in writing by email to events@bountifulgardensnj.com . Loss of payment will occur if no notification of cancellation occurs, OR if notification occurs less than 5 days prior to the event date. 6. Events are rain or shine unless a rain date is publicized. In the event of a 'rainout', the rain date becomes the valid ticket date. Refunds will not be issued if an event moves to a rain date. Ticket holders will be notified no later than 4 hours prior to the event if a rainout is required. 7. Bountiful Gardens reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or other extenuating circumstance in which case a ticket will be automatically fully refunded.
