This type of maiden grass is noted for its arrow green leaves that have silver middle leaves forming a rounded, arching clump of foliage. It turns yellow after frost and the tiny reddish-copper flowers appear above the foliage lasting until September until they slowly turn to silver plumes. This versatile ornamental grass is great as an accent, specimen, or in small groupings.
