Mediterranean Pink is covered in stunning spikes of pink, bell-shaped flowers rising above the foliage from late winter to mid spring. The tiny needle-like foliage remain light green, even throughout the winter. It;s a multi-stemmed evergreen shrub with a mounding form that is one of the more tolerant of heaths and very low-maintenance.

Heaths can be treated as speading groundcover plants or as small mounding shrubs. They're best used in wild or rock gatdens, where they have the ability to develop naturally. They're particularly attractive when they're allowed to cascade off retaining walls or edges of raised planters.
