Silver and Gold is a yellowtwig dogwood cultivator that's primarily grown for its bold, variegated foliage and its yellow winter stems. This is a suckering shrub that grows leaves variegated with irregular creamy white margins. The foliage turns yellow in the fall, while stems turn bright yellow in the winter, really bringing color to your landscape all year round!!

This shrub is excelllent when planted in masses or even as a specimen. It makes an effective shrub in borders where plants can be combined with evergreens or a contrasting color of redtwig dogwoods for interesting winter contrast. These plants perform well in wet locations such as low spots or along streams/pponds where spreading roots can help combat soil erosion.
