Characteristics: This deciduous, flowering ornamental tree is slow-growing (less than one foot per year) and is one of the most cold-hardy dogwoods. It is noted for its profuse bloom of beautiful white flowers and is adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions. Plant this showy dogwood as either a landscape specimen or in small groupings-- it is the perfect addition to a woodland or bird garden.
